Dumaguete, or locally known as The City of Gentle People, the largest city in Negros Oriental. The city is famous for its colorful Buglasan Festival, ancestral houses, coffee shops, and tasty silvanas. The lush, waterfront Rizal Boulevard is backed by bars and restaurants. The Silliman University Anthropology Museum displays prehistoric artifacts from local indigenous groups. Nearby, is the 1900s wooden Silliman Hall. Opposite the leafy Quezon Park is the 19th-century St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral and its belfry, the Campanario de Dumaguete. The city is also a favorite far-flung destination for travelers from East Asia and Europe. The inhabitants are called Dumagueteños and their spoken dialect is part of the wider Binisaya or Visayan ethnolinguistic group.
Siquijor is a small, yet remarkable island in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. Known as the “Island of Fire,” Siquijor is not only famed for its pristine beaches, lush forests, majestic waterfalls, and vibrant marine life, but also for its intriguing tales of witchcraft and mythical creatures. The inhabitants are called Siquijodnons and their spoken language is Cebuano as they are part of the wider Binisaya or Visayan ethnolinguistic group.
Bohol is a province of the Philippines in the country’s Central Visayas region. It is known for coral reefs and unusual geological formations, notably the Chocolate Hills. On the main island, near the town of Carmen, these 1,200 or so symmetrical mounds turn cocoa-brown in the dry season contrasting with the surrounding jungle’s greenery. The inhabitants are called Boholano or Bol-anon and their spoken dialect is part of the wider Binisaya or Visayan ethnolinguistic group.

From the hotel, walk along Rizal Boulevard while munching on some food from the many food stalls on the promenade.
Rizal Boulevard is named after Dr. Jose Rizal, a man who considered the national icon in the Philippines. It is a popular tourist spot in Dumaguete for more than historical reasons.
Walk also to the city public wet and dry market. And experience one of the best vibrant life in Dumaguete public market. A bustling hive of fishermen, families, locals, and tourist, the public market is where many sections of the Dumaguete population come together. A huge array of goods is available in public markets. You also buy some of their delicacies to taste or some souvenirs.
You may also visit Siliman University and come inside the school to visit their museum if they are open to visit. If not, you can still see the school since it is near the market by walking,
A university town and provincial capital, Dumaguete is the ideal base for exploring what Negros Oriental has to offer. It is nicknamed The City of Gentle People because of the warm hospitality of locals. Your half day tour begins with a visit to Silliman University where you can stroll across the campus lined with acacia trees dating back a century. This stop also includes an informative tour of the university’s Anthropological Museum, better known as the Silliman Hall, which is only open on weekends. Built in 1909, Silliman Hall is considered the oldest wooden structure of Eastern Stick Style of
American architecture in the Philippines. Next stop is a visit to St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral, the oldest stone church on the island, and Campanario de Dumaguete, considered as one of the oldest heritage landmarks of Negros. Your guide will then take you for a walk along the historic Rizal Boulevard, Dumaguete's harbor-front promenade lined with upmarket bars, restaurants and food stalls. Come noon, you can drop by the Sidlakang Negros Village, one-stop shop for Negros Oriental’s finest arts, crafts and delicacies.

Day 3 - Dolphine Watching & Manjuyod Sandbar W/ Twin Lakes

Proceed for Bais Dolphine Watching, Manjuyod Sandbar and Twin Lakes w/ Lunch.
Bais City is well known for its proximity to the protected marine sanctuary, the Tañon Strait. From the Capiñahan Wharf in the South Bay, the boat heads out to the Bais Bay and into the Tañon Strait where the dolphins frolic in the water, and the whales emerge from the deep.
The adventure starts with a cruise along Bais Bay then out to Tañon Strait, the natural habitat of several whale and dolphin specie. Among the kinds of dolphins, you may encounter during the trip are, pantropical spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and long snouted spinner dolphins. Melon headed whales, short finned pilot whales, pygmy sperm whales, pygmy killer whales and dwarf sperm whales are commonly found in the Tañon Strait too.
After the show of sea mammals, you head out to Manjuyod White Sand Bar where the boat temporarily docks. Here you can savor your lunch of grilled pork and fish while looking out into the blue sea and sky and the white sands of Manjuyod. This place is also ideal for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and scuba diving in the nearby reefs.
After Lunch,
drive from Dumaguete to Sibulan, with half the drive on a hilly terrain affords you a panoramic view of the Tanon Strait and Cebu and the beautiful countryside. Spend the day, swimming,kayaking or paddling on a local banca, or trek your way through a 30-minute rock trail around the lake. Bring a windbreaker or jacket as the weather can be completely different, with the air much cooler, and almost always, some shower.
Balinsasayao Twin Lakes Natural Park is comprised of three lakes namely: Lake Balinsasayao, Lake Danao and Lake Kabalin-an. Now a part of a protected area, it encompasses a wide range of flora and fauna. With the two lakes separated by four mountains, Lake Balinsasayao can be found at northwest while Lake Danao is on the southeast.

Old Balete Tree
Your first stop is visiting the 4 century year old Balete Tree (or Banyan Tree) in the Philippines. Locals believe that this tree is inhabited by other spirits. The tree provides water to supply the village.
St. Isidore Church and Convent
Built by Spanish priest in 1884 in Lazi, it is the biggest and among the oldest convents in Asia and recognized as a National Historical Landmark.
Cambugahay Waterfalls.
A three level waterfalls with refreshing water perfect for swimming.
Note: Bring a sarong or throw-over clothing as there is no change room at the falls.
Shell Museum
An exhibit of many sea shells found in Siquijor.
Bolo-bolo Healed-depends upon the availability of healer.
A healing ritual involves using a clear glass of water, black stone and pipe. Using the pipe, the healer blows into the glass of water, moving it across the affected area of the patient’s body. The water in the glass slowly becomes murky, filled with brown and cottony organic matter believed to be the bad elements removed from the patient’s body. The process is repeated a few times until the water remains clear, an indication that the impurities causing the disease has been healed.
St. Francis of Assisi Church and Bell Tower
Located in Siquijor town, this is the first church you will see when arriving from Siquijor Pier. This is the first Parish Church on the island and was built in 1783.
San Juan de Capilay Lake
The nature spring water that flows through Capilay Lake serves as the local’s picnic area on most weekends.
Lunch may be packed prepared by the resort and may take a lunch during a picnic at Cabugahay Water Falls, or the guest my take their lunch by the sea on Politon Beach.

A very special natural phenomenon is waiting for you today. In the morning you will be picked up and head for the Chocolate Hills. No, do not take it too literally; it will not be a day of sweets. And yet, the scenery you see here is thought to think of chocolate hills. In a very flat area, more than 1200 conical hills rise. Different myths round the origins of this landscape; your guide undoubtedly removes them from the blankets.
Lunch will be served during River Cruise.
EXPERIENCE BOHOL: LOBOC RIVER CRUISE AND FLOATING RESTAURANT
Touring Bohol is never complete without touring around Loboc River while having lunch. The floating restaurant will not only fill your tummy, but the lush trees along the serene river in the cruise will surely make you feel relaxed. After boarding the floating restaurant, you can choose your seat and immediately start eating while waiting for other guests. When all guests are already boarded, The cruise will start and the performer will start performing. Everywhere you look is just lush green trees and the blue sky.
After lunch at Loboc River.
Another crowd-drawer in Loboc, alongside the River Cruise is the zipline/cable car ride at the Eco-Tourism Adventure Park. They offer zipline and cable car rides with invigorating statures of 120 and 100 meters respectively. This will give you a chance to take a good look at Loboc's brilliant hilly slant while getting a charge out of the ride. Have an extraordinary time seeing Loboc’ s rich green trees together with its beguiling clean stream.
At 520 meters in length and 120 meters high, you'll get an incredible perspective of the Loboc stream and its encompassing woods for somewhat more than a moment. The view is amazing and that one moment may feel like endlessness for the individuals who fear statures yet too short for thrill seekers.
