ENCHANTING GEORGIA

Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia is a former Soviet republic. It has a total number of populations 3,717,425 as of 2024. The people are called Georgians and their most widely spoken language is Georgian followed by English, Russian, and Azerbaijani. Tbilisi is the capital and known for the diverse architecture and mazelike, cobblestone streets of its old town.

The nation is home to Caucasus Mountain villages with snow peaks, black sea beaches, rushing waterfalls, hikes and hilltops, botanical gardens, and nature parks. It is also a shelter to various unusual cave cities. One of them is the Uplistsikhe, an archaeological site featuring the ruins of a rock-cut town dating to the Iron Age. It is an ancient cave town and one of the oldest towns in Georgia. Another cave is the Prometheus, which was discovered in the year 1984 and is the biggest cave in the country. Other cave cities are Sataplia, and the famous Vardzia, a sprawling cave monastery dating to the 12th century, and the ancient wine-growing region Kakheti.

One of the main reasons to love this country are the inhabitants. They are very kind, warm, and welcoming towards their guests. You can have a friendly chat with them without any fear or hesitation. They believed that the guests are a sacred thing and a gift from God.
