Surigao del Norte is located at the Northeastern part of Mindanao. The province is composed of the mainland, where Surigao City is the capital, Siargao, and Bucas Grande islands. Siargao is composed of 48 islands and islets—politically divided into nine municipalities. It contains one of the largest mangrove forest reserves in Mindanao, but it is also known as the surfing capital of the Philippines. The best-known surfing wave on the island with a worldwide reputation for thick, hollow tubes is “Cloud 9”. This right-breaking reef wave is the site of the annual Siargao Cup, a domestic and international surfing competition sponsored by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte. Offshore, a classic tropical island lies protected within its surrounding coral reef with dozens of coconut palms dressed in the center circle of the island. Off to the right within the massive coastal reef lies a shining white sand bar called Pansukian or Naked Island with some 200 meters long. The native inhabitants of the island are called Surigaonon with Austronesian spoken dialect with a generic term known as Binisaya or Visayan language as part of the wider ethnolinguistic group.

On the main island, near the town of Carmen, these 1,200 or so symmetrical mounds turn cocoa-brown in the dry season contrasting with the surrounding jungle’s greenery. The inhabitants are called Boholano or Bol-anon and their spoken dialect is part of the wider Binisaya or Visayan ethnolinguistic group.

A very special natural phenomenon is waiting for you today. In the morning you will be picked up and head for the Chocolate Hills. No, do not take it too literally; it will not be a day of sweets. And yet, the scenery you see here is thought to think of chocolate hills. In a very flat area, more than 1200 conical hills rise. Different myths round the origins of this landscape; your guide undoubtedly removes them from the blankets.
Lunch will be served during River Cruise.

Touring Bohol is never complete without touring around Loboc River while having lunch. The floating restaurant will not only fill your tummy, but the lush trees along the serene river in the cruise will surely make you feel relaxed. After boarding the floating restaurant, you can choose your seat and immediately start eating while waiting for other guests. When all guests are already boarded, The cruise will start and the performer will start performing. Everywhere you look is just lush green trees and the blue sky.

Cancellation for individual bookings shall be charged a fee equivalent to one hundred (100%) of the total guaranteed rooms and meals arrangement in case the Agency fails to notify the resort (21) days prior to the expected arrival of guest/s.
(50%) of the total guaranteed rooms and meals arrangements in case the Agency fails to notify the resort (30) days prior to the expected arrival of guests.
PEAK SEASON DATES: Cancellation of booking shall be charged a fee equivalent to one hundred (100%) of the total guaranteed rooms and meals agreement in case the agency fails to notify the Resort (60) days prior to the expected arrival of guest/s.
