A spectacular seven-day itinerary to enjoy the wonders of eastern Sicily, from the beaches of Taormina to the breathtaking views of Mount Etna and ancient Magna Graecia in Syracuse.

Upon arrival at Catania airport you will pick up your rental car and head to your luxury 4* hotel in Taormina. There you will check in (available from 2pm) with B&B treatment. For the rest of the day you will have free time to relax or explore the city.
Breakfast at the hotel and free day to relax on the picturesque beaches of Taormina or to visit the old town where you can admire the Greek Theatre, a grandiose testimony of ancient Sicily, with a breathtaking view. In addition to the theatre, Taormina is rich in historic palaces, extraordinary squares and imposing cathedrals.
Departure at approximately 9 a.m. by private pick-up in Taormina to reach the northern slope of Mount Etna, from which we will embark on an easy 60- to 150-minute trek (Sartorius or 2002 craters) with a private nature guide. Visit various lava flows in the area, surrounded by lunar landscapes, and possibility of visiting a lava flow cave. Guided tour, wine tasting and light lunch in a new, completely eco-friendly organic wine cellar. Return to the hotel around 5 p.m. Overnight stay at the hotel.
The marvellous power of Mount Etna, the snow-capped peaks, the crystal-clear sea of the Ionian coast, the historical and archaeological heritage, the baroque churches and palaces, the food and wine traditions and music, human warmth and an innate culture of hospitality, welcome the tourist all year round. After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, you will drive with your rental car to beautiful Catania. A 4-hour city tour with a private guide who will reveal the artistic beauty of this wonderful city.
In the afternoon free time and return to the hotel in Taormina.
Breakfast at the hotel and free day to relax on the picturesque beaches of Taormina or to visit some of the villages near Taormina, famous for being the film set of the movie 'The Godfather'.
In the evening, we recommend you to explore new streets in the city to find the best restaurants and enjoy a typical Catanese dinner, one of the best cuisines in Sicily.
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer by hire car to Syracuse. After meeting your guide you will begin a fantastic private tour of the Corinthian city. Here you will admire the important monuments from the times of Magna Graecia that still exist in the city, such as the magnificent Greek Theatre and the exhibits in the Archaeological Museum. This wonderful 4-hour tour will end in Ortigia, a small Ionian pearl with its picturesque streets and churches, including the Cathedral, all surrounded by the sea.
Return with your rental car to Taormina in the afternoon.
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Catania airport by car, which you will leave at the rental car desk.
