VENICE CRAFTSMANSHIP TRADITIONS are extremely important and go back to centuries ago, when the “Serenissima” Republic became a strong commercial port for trading goods in the whole Mediterranean Sea and beyond. Most of these goods were crafted in Venice and its lagoon: the most typical products of the area are, of course, MURANO GLASS ARTWORKS, but also SHOES, IRON products and Burano LACE products. We will reveal the secrets behind the know-how of Venetian artisans, having the great chance to visit a couple of local workshops where the craftsmen will explain how they daily create amazing unique masterpieces. With a PRIVATE TAXIBOAT you will reach with your guide the ISLAND OF MURANO, learning about the stunning glass making tradition that led the local artisans to become world-wide famous. Breakfast at the hotel and check out; with a personal chaperon and taxiboat you will reach Piazzale Roma where a luxury vehicle will take you to VALDOBBIADENE precious hills, home to PROSECCO, the delicious Italian sparkling wine, fundamental ingredient for “Spritz” cocktail. With your car at disposal you will visit two estates while enjoying Prosecco wine tastings together with a set of local cheese and “salumi”. Final transfer to reach Verona in the afternoon.
